Thematic Exhibition

A philately exhibition shall always have other points of interest to attract the ranks of non-philatelists and help them deepen their understanding of the great world of Philately.

In 2010, the Portuguese Republic celebrates its 100th anniversary, and the Organising Committee of PORTUGAL 2010 has reserved an area inside the World Philatelic Exposition for a major exhibition dedicated to the Portugal Post throughout the 100 Years of the Republican Regime.

This exhibition will draw a picture of the romantic yet violent times of the 1st Republic, as seen from the counters of the Post Office, itself rich in historic events. The visitors will have three Postal Counters to explore, dated 1910, 1960 and present day, all with the actual instruments of postal trade at those times.

In addition, a space will be dedicated to the Portugal Post Office offer in terms of innovation and creativity . New products and new business proposals for individual customers, reinforcing the primary line guides of Portugal Post strategy: Sustainability, Concern about the environment, Customer care and Added Value for the share holders.
