Philatelic Issues

In partnership with the Portuguese Philatelic Federation (FPF), the Portuguese Post Office (CTT) has decided to sponsor and organise the PORTUGAL 2010 – World Philatelic Exhibition.

This is an undoubtedly intelligent commitment, which will ensure that the world gets to know a little more about our history and about how the Republic succeeded the Monarchy in Portugal, thanks to a series of philatelic issues on the subject of the Portuguese Republic. These issues will be launched between 2007 and 2010, and will culminate with the publication of a book entitled Centenário da República – The Centenary of the Republic.
