Competition
PORTUGAL 2010 is a World Exhibition that is being jointly organised by the Portuguese Philatelic Federation (FPF) and the Portuguese Post Office (CTT).
It will take place at the Parque das Nações in Lisbon, in Pavilion no. 1 of the Portuguese Industrial Association (AIP), from 1st to 10th October 2010.
This World Exhibition, held under the patronage of the International Philatelic Federation (FIP) and the European Philatelic Federation (FEPA), will be governed by very specific regulations as regarding exhibitor participation.
PORTUGAL 2010 will host various competitive classes, including FIP Championship Class, Traditional Philately, Thematic Philately, Maximaphily and Youth Philately, among others. Exhibitors will be allocated a given number of frames in which to display their collections, which will be decided by the Organising Committee depending on the number of exhibitors in each competitive class.
We will also be awarding prizes to outstanding exhibits in each class, including the National and International Grand Prix d’Honneur, UPU and Youth Prizes, and the Gold, Vermeil, Silver, Silver Bronze and Bronze Medals.
