Portugal 2010 in Numbers

PORTUGAL 2010 - World Philatelic Exhibition takes place 10-10 October 2010 at FIL - Feira Internacional de Lisboa located in the Parque das Nações.

10 000 m2 in the Parque das Nações, of wich 1000 m2 for a documentary exhibition on the Centenary of the Republic and the other for the Philatelic component.

Pieces in Competition: 1500 frames, 3000 sides; 48,000 sheets of stamps. Nearly 1 million philatelic specimens (stamps and other philatelic items) in Exhibition.

We received 1030 proposals from Collectors with intent to exhibit, which the Jurors Federated, due to the limitation of space, just pick the best 600 collections to compete.

The National Philately Federation from 77 countries confirmed their participation. There wil be 60 stands with 24 postal operators and 19 merchants. We expect about 150,000 visitors.
